Can anyone remember when ACE was first introduced?

I don't want my ACE membership to run out because I'll lose a load of pictures, only I can't remember:
a) when I first bought ACE
b) if last year I got a reminder to update it when a year was nearly up.
I know that the first time I bought it was shortly after it was introduced.
Can anyone remember when this was, or if we get a reminder e-mail to renew membership? Thanks x

Read a similar thread not so long ago. Apparently you get a message appearing at the top of the screen. Either way, you do get reminded x

@naomi A message appears at the top of your screen saying its time to renew, a few weeks before it runs out and also you should get a reminder e mail. I know because I've just renewed mine :-)

I'm coming to the end of my project. Once I've finished will my photos disappear if I don't upgrade to ACE... does anyone know?

also I seem to remember that some people didn't renew in time, "lost" their extra albums only to get them "back" once they'd paid their subs!

@miley89 no they'll still be there, if you don't sign in for a while (like ages) I think Ross (or maybe one of the MMs) emails you to log in within a certain time (might be 3 weeks) or your account gets deleted.

There was no ACE when I first joined this site. But I don't remember when it first appeared. Sometime in 2010, I guess - probably during the summer?

You get a reminder email.

@miley89 If your account goes idle for a length of time (it's longer than 3 weeks, unlike what someone said) there is a possibility it will be deleted. So just keep signing in and posting stuff.

@miley89 you can keep going for as long as you want, there is no limit as to how many photos you can have in your album.

Oh thanks. Ideally I'd like to upgrade to ACE and create a separate album, but if that's not possible I wouldn't want to lose my first year of photos.
