I signed, but I think it's Google that closed it down due to the fact that they want become another FaceBook and want to "integrate" some of the features into Google+
@clarissajohal That's what it looks like to me too. I signed hoping that maybe they'd just start another company under a new name. Not sure how that really works though.
When I started, I was getting to Picnik through Picassa. So I don't really think that it'll change much some how. Though I do hate how Picassa always wants to compress my photos...the nerve!
Sounds to me like they've been bought out... Not sure a petition will work. However, there will be someone else to come along, now that picnik is selling out and they will make one, I'm sure.
I am a huge Google fan, but I hate Google+ and have no interest in using it. I'm sad to see that they are getting rid of a perfectly good photo editing site to try to drag people over to them. :(
@Scrivna
Just curious, when Picnik switches over to google plus, will Ace members still be able to edit via 365? Sorry, I wasn't sure where else to post this question without starting another thread, which I feel is unnecessary.
