Please Help

Hi guys,

I know this is a MASSIVE ask, but you know the saying you don't ask you don't get....

so here it is, I wanted to know if there was anyone out there who had a camera that they no longer want or use and that would be willing to give it away or sell from a few quid, I don't have a lot of money but want to upgrade and try to make something from my photography, I know my photos look good online but I need something better for print.

I'm after a DSLR as I have a compact that I us at the moment, I would be willing to do anything for a DSLR so please help.

Wish I could help. However, a couple of years ago, I picked up a used Nikon D1H. New, they were $4,350 US. Got mine for $250 US.

It is part of their first gen of Pro Digital, circa 2001. Megapixels...don't matter.

I use it all the time, and it works fantastic. Look used!!! They will serve you well.

Have a look on ebay, we were watching an identical camera to my Sony Apha 300 and it went for about £40 in the end. Some small problems can be easily fixed without costing you a fortune. Good luck :)

Thank you guys, I know all this I've been looking on ebay but everything seems to go for so much, and Ems do you have the details to that post that you were watching.

I guess I will just have to wait a bit longer lol

@neeko Not sure if this helps, but a friend of mine got a nice camera on craigslist. Not sure what kind it is, I just know it is much better than mine. You can set craigslist to email you when there is a posting.

@neeko I didn't realize you were in the UK, so I don't know. I wouldn't trust anyone to send it from craigslist. You usually meet to exchange your goods. Sorry :(
