Just thought I would share a new group in the area that plans to get together for photography day trips and get togethers on a regular basis. The group includes areas for Constructive Criticism, Photoshop & Lightroom Tips and Tricks, tutorials, among other things.
The group is just getting started, but if you live in the area, come join so we can get it off of the ground. This will be a great way to get to know other photographers in your area and people that you can talk photography to that won't strangle you in a matter of minutes!
Continue to check back over the next few days to see what has been added. There will be a lot of great information over there!
ALL levels of photography are welcome from beginner to pro. Come here and take your photography to the next level by sharing your experience with everyone. If you don't have experience, come join and let the ones who do, share it with you. Want to take your camera out of Auto and learn Manual? Come on by!

The group is located in Washington County Maryland (Hagerstown), but the day trips will likely be all over the place - Washington DC, Annapolis for sure - I grew up close to there are well (Burtonsville), Antietam Battlefield, Baltimore Inner Harbor, Local Waterfalls, anywhere that people are willing to meet up and go!
This sounds like a great idea...thanks for creating it! I would love to participate when possible. I live in the D.C. area...Silver Sping to be exact. I will make sure to check the website periodically.
@brumbe OMG...I live right near Longwood Gardens! Like....5 minutes. I will be there!! I live in Kennett Square....but we may be moving. (again.............. see my 2010 photos--it was a moving year, ha!) Nonethess, it'll be way after March, and since I'm (currently) a PA girl....I'm in. :-)
@brumbe - maybe I will go open it up temporarily so people can see if it is something they want to join. It's brand new, so we need members to make it take off!

Is the group going to still limit viewing their site to members. I could not check anything out @jenp with out logging in.
Yes, you will have to register as a user to log in.
