For a few years now, I've been taking pics with a Nikon and using iPhoto to organize them and Photoshop to tweak them. I just got a new Nikon camera with NX2 software. I'm wondering if any other Nikon and MAC users have loaded the NIkon software and if so, do you use it? like it?
I just purchased a new Nikon a few days ago and only use the software to upload photos from the card to a folder on my computer and then organize them in Adobe Bridge and then process in Photoshop. Not sure if there even is a difference between NX and NX2.
Don't ask me why but I just use standard photoloader and organize my images by hand. Used canon software for while until an update crashed and iPhoto s...s :-)

@mastermek@tanja_1211 yes, i'm with you, it's nice to have the control. One reason i'm contemplating using the nikon software is because the camera [without the memory card] stores a few pics and i can't figure out how to get those few pics off the camera without the software.
If the nikon software works fine for you, it works fine I should say. Above I mentioned photoloader but that was a 'free' translation from Dutch. In English the Apple app is called 'Image Capture'. It standard software somewhere in your application folder. You could give it a try.
I haven't installed the software that came with mine because like the others I tend to like to organise my own pics and don't really do much processing, tending to just give a bit of a crop now and again otherwise SOOC. Let me know how you get on with it and I will see from your comments whether I should give it a go. I think you've got a P510 like mine so I'll be interested to hear what the software is like
