Ok heres the thing ,
the jack that the usb cord goes into has maybe snapped / broken . Anyone got any ideas on how to get the photos off it , or to repair it ???
you need to take it to a shop like the guy in at the old pink ellie markets or someone else similar and have them take the actual hard drive out of it and put it in a new case.
Its possible he or another computer tech type guy might be able to fix the jake but not worth trying really.
You can also buy the cases from the computer fair but then you have to find someone who can do the swap. It wouldnt be hard for someone who knows what they are doing. just like replacing the hard drive in your computer
thanx guys, yeh im sure they photos will be ok ... just didnt know which way to go with getting them off the hard drive .. Im shattered cos i got photos on it that i want tonight grrrrrrr oh well
