I have a project to do for college under the title manmade/natural. We can interpret it however way we want to. We have to do 5 photo's with a reoccurring theme. I've decided to do English Sayings...bear with me!!
1) Couch Potato - potato on a miniature couch (thinking of shooting outdoors to emphasise that being indoors all day is a man made phenomena)
2) Chip on his shoulder - potato (as in the vegetable) chip + computer chip on someones shoulder
3) 3 sheets to the wind - miniature washing line with 3 sheets drying naturally in the wind + miniature tumble dryer by it's side.
4) Fine kettle of fish - I have a yellow watering can in the shape of a kettle. I am going to have fish (heads an all!) coming out of the top. Thinking of placing it near a stream, river or something with a fish trail leading to it.
My problem is....I can't think of no 5! My project needs to be finished by the middle of June so need to get started on it. Any ideas for the last one?
Bad hair day - Outside on a windy day (nature) with a person's hair blowing (or out of sight fan if there's no wind) and either a curling iron or hair spray or something else in the line of man-made hair care items.
You can't unscramble an egg - frying pan (man-made) of scrambled egg, complete egg and an egg shell... or shot of someone trying to get the scrambled egg back in the shell (nature) with a spoon or spatula (man-made).
Dog eat dog world - could be a hot dog being eaten by a dog.
or
Spinning out of control ... someone spinnng in a field (which would give movement) with a record player next to them ... maybe a colorful child's record player.
Both of these would meet the man-made + natural criteria.

I love the Dog eat dog one but I don't have a dog and don't know anyone with one unfortunately - that one would def have been my first choice otherwise. I think I'm going to go with spinning out of control. I don't have a record player but thought I could do it with a spinning top instead. I now just need to go out and shoot them!!

Might be hard to get a cat to cooperate for the last one lol
