I don't think my photos are too bad & get some nice comments on them, I've had some people express interest in them but it's mostly friends who I wouldn't charge if they wanted to have a copy!
What do you think is the best way to have your photos "seen" on-line by other people, is it by creating a Facebook Page, Flickr, 500px or how????
I spoke to one of the professional photographers here who suggested having a facebook page as a start and then look at getting your own domain.
I set up a facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/singsphotos) but things are going slow at present. I have been told that these things take time. I have sold some pictures recently. We had an art exhihition in the valley and one of the local shops asked if they could have some of my pictures for their shop after the exhibit!
I tried Flickr, 500px, RedBubble, Tumblr, etc. Minimal response. you really have to push to promote yourself above the noise. Facebook pages are an easy way to go. I've stopped posting my fine art shots on my regular page, "forcing" my friends to check out my photo page. It's worked OK so far. https://www.facebook.com/CyclopsPhotography
I won't start a Facebook page for my photos, mainly because FB thinks that they own them if you put them on their site. Plus I am so tired of people constantly asking me to Like their pages...argh.

@5unflow3r Yeah I get where you're coming from, I also don't like those requests, if I come across a page I like that's different but don't beg me!!!
