@peterdegraaff Reading the rules prompted the question actually, specifically the bit about tags.
My Japanese (so probably Sigma or Yashica) CZJ is probably a Sonnar but there's no mark to say so, and it's an OM mount which isn't on the approved list. Nor is M42, which is a bit of a shame as I have an East German 135 Tessar. On the Flickr page Zeiss have commented to the effect that CZJ lenses are welcome, and there's some emollient words about tags and how welcome film users are, but I'm left with the impression that if it ain't in the approved list things are likely to get complicated at the least.
Still, fair play to Zeiss, they're not making Nikon's mistake of excluding film users from the competition.
