Has anyone been watching/participating in any online photography courses outside of the 365 project that they would recommend, for those who can't attend classes or dont have classes to attend in the area they live.
I'd be interested, the choices in the area I live are limited and sometimes it would just be so much easier to learn from my computer and then go outside etc to do the practicle as my schedule permits.
Open University T189 Create and Share Better Digital Images. It is a ten week module and is estimated to take about 10 hours a week (though in reality most people got so hooked that they spent more time than that.) Several of us on here did it in 2011. I would highly recommend it. Very well structured and covers not only taking photos, but also editing in PSE - the software is included in the price of the course.
I'm currently studying through a group called "URCreative". They offer "face to face" courses, but also eLearning courses that are done online.
I'm studying the "Diploma of Applied Photography" which I find to be very extensive and beneficial. I work full time, so I occasionally struggle to fit it all in, but the ability to choose my own schedule is wonderful... I wouldn't be able to do it otherwise.
I live in Australia, so I'm not sure whether the eLearning courses are available to people living in other countries, but it could be worth a look.
