Just watched this and it seems like quite a good idea. I do not have a light meter myself but this is not to expensive that even I might be able to afford :)
Looks interesting and its low cost. I got a dedicated one for about $170 and thought I needed it for indoor studio shots. I realized later I did not. I'd take a gamble on this if I didn't have anything....cheap!
Looks interesting. For me a handheld meter is essential. I usually shoot in manual mode and find on-camera meters pretty unreliable, particularly outside in the UK, where everything is flat and grey at this time of year
