I've never been adventurous, just stuck with ID11 or D76 but just googled the coffee stuff and am keen to give that a go- sounds fascinating! @aprilmilani@phillyphotos
@phillyphotos@ingrid2101 Thank you Im getting all set up. And yes I heard the Vit c. Smells awful. But how cool. What do you find are best times and temps for each step?
d77, ilfosol 3, adonal and tetanal c41 two bath kit. Also have ready to try d19, tetanal e6 3 bath kit, and digibase kit.
There are essentially three different types in b&w, powder to make up, one shot liquid concentrates to dilute and then concentrates to dilute for stand development.
And I too 68 degrees, not as critical as colour though April- a doddle after what you've been doing - I don't know about you but I get quite messy doing C41 as I'm always trying to fill up the sink with hot water.
The b&w is dependent on film type - just find details on the chem bottle....Have fun!!
Eww? Wonder how bad it is - maybe one for outside in the summer
What language are you guys speaking? It's like I've stepped into the Twilight Zone lol I knew I shouldn't have been curious and stepped into this thread! *makes a quick about face and runs out the door* :P
When doing C41 I use a plastic sided crate which I got from Ikea as the hot water bath. It keeps sink free. Watched video on youtube. Some recipes allow much lower temps than 38C, and have already experimented at stand development with C41 at 20C. The cold water comes out of our taps at about 22C at moment!
