Hi everyone, I am thinking of purchasing one of these flashbenders. I would love to see some of your shots with this item, anything from macro to portraits etc.

I would also like to hear any good or bad experiences with this product too

Anyone who has a Gary Fong are welcome to post too, but please state what product was used for your shot!

Thanks everyone

Haven't used one but saw something similar on eBay the other day and thought how cool it was!

Get the Flashbender! I use it all the time for macro and still life, and sometimes for portraits. The Flashbender is so versatile because of its flexibility. I have used it to produce a strip of light ( http://365project.org/danielwsc/365/2013-02-08), as a snoot ( http://365project.org/danielwsc/365/2013-02-19), and as a bounce for a portrait ( http://365project.org/danielwsc/365/2013-03-12), although with the last one I had a second flash for fill.

The Flashbender secures firmly to your speedlight, but is a bit heavy so you won't be able to set the flash head at an angle; straight up or horizontal only. That is with the large one; I don't have the small. From reviews I read, the small one is not as useful.

Let me know if you want any other information.

I just recently purchased the rogue flashbender. I love it. use it as a reflective bouce or attach the softbox style diffuser and it produces a great light. I used it at a wedding for the first time to light up an entire bridal party. I was happy the way the light was spread evenly over the whole scene. attach the diffurer cover to move in for a close up portrait and was well pleased with that also. very smooth to use. not overly bulky. attaches and detaches quickly. I'm looking forward to purchasing the gel set to use with the system.
