Maternity Photos

I have the opportunity to take some photos of one of my friends, who is due in June, and would love any recommendations and ideas for taking maternity shots.

Also, please posts your own shots if you have any to share.

This one is a little different, since you can't even see her baby belly, but here is another idea for you:

Definitely do some shots focusing on her belly, showing the size of it. If you have some baby blocks, you could have her or the couple together holding the letters of the baby's name (if they know it) on the curve of her belly. Pinterest is a great place to get ideas. Or google images. I like to get them talking and laughing and get some fun shots like that so all the shots aren't formal and posed. Just have fun with it. You'll do great :)

I did a shot in February for a friend:


We did a winter shoot so it was hard to try and get a bunch of shots in while making sure the momma-to-be was kept warm! I found googling maternity poses came up with some ideas (and even pinterest had some different ideas!) .Good luck!
