I am considering moving to Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky, due to the hubby's job.....I have never been there and would love to see some photos if anyone is from there. Or if you know anyone on 365 that is from there I'd love their name.
Thanks in advance.
I've travelled through Kentucky and LOVED every single little part of it. I am looking forward to going back one day but have so many other places to go to as well.
The people we met were great. Friendly, helpful, willing to share their stories... just everything about Kentucky was great...including all the wonderful photo opportunities. We were there in the fall and it was magical but I'm sure it would be just as wonderful in any season.
I will have a look back through my project to see if I have any photos but I think at that time I was only doing digital scrapbooking so the photos will not be on this site.
@megmills, there are several of us. Including me ( @sjoblues ), Amanda ( @amandal ), Katie ( @katiebrenkert ), Lyn ( @lyno ), JC ( @365inthelifeofjcvogt ), Michelle ( @chelmck ), and Cathy ( @cdonohoue ). I've probably forgotten someone. But anyway, you can check out our albums, I think all of us have various Cincinnati and/or N. Kentucky images. And if you need any "native guides," just let us know. :)
I am a huge Cincinnati Reds baseball fan and will be heading there at least 5 times this year for games. I don't have photos of the area but I know that the Tri-State are in that corner is quite nice. The Ohio River provides lots of photo opportunities with the ports, commercial boats and barges as well as many larger private boats. There are nice hills and wooded areas around. Newport aquarium (Newport KY) is very nice. A decent sized zoo. 2 hours from Indianapolis, IN or Columbus, OH. 1.5 hours to Louisville, KY and near to the bourbon trail in KY.
If your husband does take the job and you move there, do a bit of research. Like any large city there are some areas I would suggest not living, quite ghetto. However the downtown area has really started to come back around and is a fun and vibrant place with many nice places to eat.
