Waterproof casing

October 20th, 2010
Hi All,

I have a Canon Powershot SX200 IS and was looking at waterproof casings on eBay.
One of the options looks like a plastic pocket, with what looks like a hard plastic section for the lens.

Has anyone else used anything similar?

Most importantly, are they waterproof?
Can you still use all the dials and buttons properly?

Thanks,

Kirsty

I've never used one, but look at them at Adorama and see if there's any reviews there....they have a lot of them !

hello ,
i own this one which i use when ever i swim , i have a powershot SX210 which fits in nicely as well as a few other point and shoots . I wouldnt say it was the most reliable way to take photos under water but it still does the job . I can change the settings on my camera when its in the bag. The only thing i can pick with it is the glare on the LCD screen makes it hard to see what ur shooting . Everything is a fluke .. for the money id give it ago .
