I am very interested in nude photography so I've been trying to look at some good shots on Flickr, but just typing "nude" into the search bar is giving me a wide variety.
Also, I would like to practice nude photography someday. I am not professional and have no plans to go professional so I would not even begin to know how to ago about doing it. Should I just ask friends?

I think there's such a great diversity in nude images and its all about what style you're trying to create. I dont do so much nude - alot more lingerie and implied because that just seems to be what i'm interested in.
However, I think you should look up art nude or fine art nude and see if that catches your fancy.
