I often comment on photos while browsing through the alphabet project or the day's pictures. It would be nice if there were a way to be notified if there is a followup to my comment, or any additional comments on that particular photo. I know on other blogs when a comment is made there is the option to be notified via email if followups are added. This would hold true for discussion topics also. I cannot always remember where I have commented to go back to check if someone else has added anything. It only happens on topics that I have started, such as this.
I agree Ray. Some sort of (optional) notification for discussions and comments would be really useful. I have periods where I comment/contribute on lots of photos and discussions and generally don't remember everything I commented on. I also find it can also be difficult to locate a discussion I commented on if it isn't a particularly active one as they tend to get buried after a little while.
I've been wanting this as well. Sometimes people add more details about the shot in their follow up comments that you might miss. It should probably be optional, but I would use it for sure.
Great idea. It would make it easier than dirtying up a photos comments that has nothing to do with the comment, which is what I'm forced to do now if I want to be sure the person sees it.
