Ace member - how to change album title

March 3rd, 2018
Is it possible to change the title of an album? I have recently made one called Themes & Challenges but the '&' didn't translate well, I probably should have used the word 'and' or just a hyphen '-' but didn't know that at the time. I guess I could just delete it and start again but I already have 8 photos in it and some of those have been commented on (or is it possible to move photos from one album to another without losing the comments etc). Help would be appreciated!

It is!! Go onto account - top right of screen, go onto albums/manage albums and retype. Good luck

Thanks for the quick response - and yes it worked! :-) I'm sure that when I was setting it up I read something that said choose your title carefully because you won't be able to change it.

that's for setting up themes and questions. If you wanted to change the title of this thread you'd be stumped!! Glad it worked- off to have a peek at your albums now....................................

you can change your album's title but the title in the URL will still be the original name you put in. for example when i opened my second album, i named it "365-again". then i changed my mind and changed it to 'challenges and themes'. however when i have to share a link to one of my photos in that album, the URL shows " https://365project.org/summerfield/365-again/ ".

and just so you know, you can move your photos to another album, to a past date that is unused, without losing the comments.

@summerfield Thanks, that's really helpful. I think my album url says themes-and-challenges. Great to know I can move photos from one to another if necessary.

It's occurred to me before that it would be useful to be able to delete an album then you could create a new one and the URL would be OK. I don't how difficult it would be to implement it's just a thought :)
