Calendar off a day?

I took a look at the calendar today, and realized the calendar is incorrect. For me, the 1/1 was on a Friday?? Anyone else have their calendar off by a day? I have the Pacific timezone setting.

I think it's just a different way of looking at it. For some, the week starts on Monday, thus it's the first day on the calendar.

@jeancarl yah, i don't know about the calendar but i looked at your pics and there are some great ones there! do you work at SLAC? I grew up right there and have always wondered about the inside. Fun, satisfying photo!
