Broken Pentax K100D Help

January 28th, 2011
I bought my Pentax about a year ago, it was used. I dropped it, not very far, from the couch to the floor. I picked it up and it was working fine. Then I started taking photos of the sun, to get a sun flare. It started blinking and then it just stopped working. I was wondering if any of you would know if there was something I could do to fix it. Like an easy fix. I called the place I got it from and htey said it would cost about $200-$250 to fix it. I am currently a college student and don't have that kind of money. Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!

I just read the title of the discussion and the discussion itself and they are both very poorly worded. SORRY!

That's nuts... the cost... you can buy one for $125-$175 from Pentaxforums.com or ebay.com

HVR
See if you can sell it at Adorama for parts at least...and buy a new one with the difference.
