I too am new. I dont know what to do or how to prove the date as I dont use a date/yr on my camera. I sometimes take pics with my Iphone so is it necessary to use just one camera for this project? Thank you.
You can use what ever device you have to take a photo.. the info should auto load on your stats..(side bar of photo)
You can also make sure in your profile the time zone is set to your correct area.. this will help keep a semi accurate time/ date ...
This web site is based in the UK so sometimes there is a time/date issue.
My latest photo says I took it at 6AM when I know it was in the evening.. so make sure your device dates are correct..
the only time it should really pose a problem is if you want to join one of the comps.. and if the date is wrong on the pic it wont be in the running!! if outside the dates needed...
Hi. You can use whatever camera/phone you like. I alternate between my camera and iPhone depending on what I've got on me at the time. The date thing only really seems relevant to the theme and even then only for selecting the final five. My DSLR gives the date as 1970 on every single photo! I wouldn't worry too much about it.
my camera was 1 day off when I first started & didn't even notice! then for one photo I used another camera that was a few years off, lol. oh well, I don't think it's that big of a deal.
