This is so basic but how do you insert an image into a post?

I know, here i am at the end of my project and I can't figure out how to insert an image into a post... I'm sure instructions are posted on the site somewhere but i can't find them. Thanks if you can help... I'm sure I need to insert some html tags but not sure what they are :)

go to the image page. on the lower right of the page, there is a box with some embed code that you can copy and paste into the post. so convenient, right? good luck =)

if you want a photo from someplace else just use normal HTML to insert image

ie img src=" http://www.place.com/image.jpg" put that in triangle brackets...

On a similar topic, I don't think you can put images into the photo descriptions or in comments on photos. If anyone has found a way, let me know.

Jean I think that's right - i wanted to insert images into a topic discussion. i can't believe how it easy it is :) thanks all for pointing me in the right direction.
