Picnik - CANNOT ACCESS; Tried all suggested help

April 10th, 2011
I cannot access Picnik for editing. I've tried all 6 steps recommended here without any success.:

If you have trouble loading any page in the Picnik application you may see endless spinning gears, a stuck loading bar, a blank page, or a Flash Player error message.

Use these steps to resolve the issue:
Step 1: Go directly to the Picnik app.
Step 2: Force refresh Picnik.
Step 3: Clear your browser cache.
Step 4: Clear shared objects.
Step 5: Update Adobe Flash Player.
Step 6: Disable any Flash or ad-blocking Extensions

To whitelist Picnik, add *.picnik.com/* as an exception in the Extension or Add-on

NOW I'M AT A LOSS! Any other ides?

Un-install and download it again, use the option that saves all your library.
Worked for me.

lyn
are you an ace member?? I don't think you can access it until you join up.
April 10th, 2011
@lynlong I'm not an Ace member but have been using this on-line editing for 3 months...almost every day.

@lynlong - You have to be an Ace member to access the basic Picnik through 365 but anyone can access it through Picnik. If you want the premium features you have to pay.

Sorry I can't help you Denise, I have had access all day.

I'm so sorry you're having trouble, Denise! I'm no help - never used Picnik until I upgraded to Ace. Never had a problem using it.

Try using a different internet browser, Internet Explorer is awful, so try either firefox or Google Chrome. You will need to download the new browser and then try! Sometimes the browser platforms just stop working on some sites, not sure why, but it has happened to me in the past, with no reason, then works on another platform.

I hadn't thought about it but, @mrsharkleroad makes a good point. I am on Safari internet browser, so maybe that's why I haven't had a problem.

@mrsharkleroad @mej2011 Thanks for the suggestion. I was using Firefox without any problem, then tried IE Explorer without success.

I've been trying a bunch of other on-line software, trying to find a similar product to Picnik.
