Nikon Lens Help

Ok so this year is a film year for me... I am starting the year with a pinhole, than I am building/rebuilding a 4x5 and finally a 8x10.

Posting this here, because there are still a few film users... I am thinking of getting the Nikon Wide Angle 120mm f/8 Nikkor-SW Lens with Copal #0 Shutter as it is cheap. Anyone use it? Stopped down to f/22-f/40 range it should cover 8x10 if I ever go that way...

View camera are completely new to me so I am reaching out to everyone I can find...

i haven't played with that lens, it has been far too long since i played with large format. i wish you luck, anxious to see progress. i suggest http://www.geek.com/articles/geek-cetera/legotron-mark-i-4x5-camera-made-out-of-lego-2011047/ when ya need a break from the design and a chuckle.
