Vertical Panorama

April 28th, 2011
Anyone else do them? After viewing Peter Lik's gallery ive been trying them more often its hard to judge what makes good composition for it tho since its SO different.

SO, show off yours if you got um! Im curious to see lots of diff subjects!
(Horizontal is ok too, or even "faked" pano via cropping)

Heres mine:

I had some trouble w/ this one... ive learned that hand holding is more difficult to do vertical.......

@stepheesue Yeah, hes a big inspiration for my Landscape/Travel photography. I hadnt rly seen many vert panoramics till him either. Big influence haha!
Thanks! I like your second shot, the composition is great and the lens flare actually adds to the shot imo nice work

@soothingbeauty Do eeet! Im interested to see what other forms of composition emerge from vert. pano. I feel like its a rather unexplored composition

@3nder I love those vertical panorama photos!!! stunning work!!! I only touch on horizontal panorama making, need to try some vertical someday. BTW, wondering how do you guys learn photo stitching. I follow the tutorial on how to stitch photos with the guidline of the panorama software I use.
