I have this friend who is currently in India. She is working at a place that houses children with special needs. At the beginning of last month, she wrote a blog and in the blog she introduced a little boy, Gabe. Gabe suffers from Spina Bifeda and is in need of surgery.
His surgery will cost 200,000 rupees; that is $4,469 US dollars! He needs to raise the rest of the funds by the end of today (5/3/11) so that he is able to get the surgery that he needs.
If you would please consider supporting this. Even if you give just $1. I know that is all some of us can afford.
yesterday, my friend posted that they had raised $3,587! Leaving only $882 left to raise. I am pretty sure it has all come in by now (just waiting for an update). Thank you to all you who supported.
