So, I might have accidently dribbled a little bit of lemonade on the top of my camera while walking and now some of the buttons stick. I have cleaned what I can get to thoroughly, but cannot get into the crevices. I have tried everything I can think of short of taking it into a shop to have a professional clean it, but any suggestions would be appreciated! The camera is taking photos fine, but the stickiness makes using some of the buttons and switches tricky....
Thanks for any help you guys can give :)
Same thing happened to me with an overactive bottle of coke.Get an aerosol or pump spray bottle of CD/DVD cleaner, quick squirt , work the dial and buttons then leave to dry.Worked for me, good luck!
TJ's right on the alcohol, even carefully drip it in to the button edges so it runs in then work the button till it's free moving, the alcohol will evaporate away in no time...
Alternatively the camera looks relatively easy to open up, you'd only need to do the basest of disassembly to clean under the buttons... (don't if the warranties good)
