I love the artwork for the Insomniac album by Green Day, it's the type of picture I can see over and over again and always find something new.

As for my own photos which would make a good cover? Probably none but lookign through my albums these are the ones which sping to attention as what could be used however I wouldn't guarantee the success of the sales based on it!
I could see this on a rock/metal album
Possibly if you changed "England" to the name of the band/title of the album, more of an indie or 90's britpop style group
A more 'thoughtful' style of album, possibly a group showing they're becoming more mature/reflecting back on their youth
Some sort of soft rock album
For soem reason I think of an old Foo Fighters album for this to go with
More of a punk album
and this one for some reason always brings to mind [Spunge] probably becasue of the song kickign pigeons and there are usually a lot of pigeons in this area
I'll stop there as I'm going off on a tangent, sorry! As I've said before music tends to influence my photos a lot. Not always in an obvious way but just from having a particular song in my head as I take it or afterwards it reminding me or a lyric or a connection with a group.

Some of the album covers created for the album cover challenge are just amazing.
