even if its not a great photo, the story that some people take the time to put there definately improves the overall image for me.
i love the little snippest of why someone chose "that" particualar photo for that day, and what it means to them, it just adds another dimension.
i also understand the need for sometimes not writing any description on some days, sometimes we just want to keep some stories private or too lazy to elaborate on some days.
I worry about what I include with my photos, sometimes I think it's a little too open and there's always a bit of a risk with doing that on the net (I've been burned before!) but this project is all about documenting a year so I feel a little explanation about what's going in in the pic is needed.
Since this site has folks from all over the world, a little history is a real plus when looking at the pictures. Here's someone who really enhances her pictures with local color: http://365project.org/hwy61/365/2010-05-01
I love the stories. I find that they often enhance my appreciation for the captured moment, and I also like when there are details about how the effect in the photo was achieved. I try to give a little context about my own photos, especially when the photo itself is not very interesting, but I am more documenting an event or object that was important to me.

http://365project.org/bernie/365/2010-05-09 is one 365er who elaborates so nicely on her images it just gives that extra dimension.
