Food Photos - Your Least Favorite

I recently commented on a discussion that I am not a fan of food photos. I myself am personally guilty of posting a photo of food that is either over or under exposed, not very interesting, and a bit bland in the color selection. I also have no shame in showing all of my epic fails here on 365. I was hoping that everyone can show their least favorite (YOURS ONLY!) food photo to show me I am not alone.

This was taken for one of my first photos of the year and I wish I could delete it immediately. I actually had an awful sinus infection for the first two weeks and took the worst photos ever.

Here is my other one I really hate. The processing is just awful and the jelly looks like clotted blood on the toast.

I have a few posted and really going back and looking at them, I do not like them now. What was I thinking!! LOL Anyway, I chose this one for the most hated by me, there is really no color at all! It is just cheese! ha ha ha

@scooter it is amazing how far we have come this year. I have to photo my lunch one day and do selective color and some posterizing just to take it over the top.

@brumbe I could not agree more! I did look at a few of your photos when you started and well as mine (as I looked for a food photo), I definitely see a change, at least in your photos, you have come so far and become so good! I need to try another food photo (it will probably be on the hated list though...ha ha ha)

@scooter I am the one who added food to the hated list. They never bothered me until this project and now I go to a restaurant and want to ask "do you really think that photo will get me to order the dish"

Thank you for the compliment. I would recommend this project to any hobbyist photographer to do 365 and get active in the community. This has been better than any class I could have taken (and FREEEEEEE)

@brumbe Oh that is funny about the food!! There is so much to read on that thread, I found some of it hysterical!! I have taken food photos for a long time as I love to cook but when I started working again, there was no cooking time so I went to taking photos of other things. I could not agree more about this place!! This is a great place to be. :)
