South-East Queensland 365project meetup?

G'day all South-East Queensland 365-ers :)

It's drawing close to the end of my project year and I'm taken with the spirit to arrange a 365project get together for all us dedicated photo-per-day peeps from Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, the Bayside, the Gold Coast, the North Coast, the Hinterlands and all areas in between. Of course this includes any 365ers who may be travelling through or with the ability to travel to join us for the get-together.

If you're up for just such a meet up, I've created a 365project SEQ Meetup Group at Google Groups here:

Please feel free to browse there and JOIN the group (nobody turned away) and I'll start the forum discussion as soon as I get a free 5-mins on a computer that supports HTTPS posting (I'm at work just now and have gone as far as I can on this computer).

Please comment here or at the Google group (above) about your interest and ability to attend, as well as preferred location/s and dates/times. Keep in mind, I'll be doing the actual arranging over at the Google group site (above) so I can link it to my Google+ presence for rapid updates...hopefully ;o)

@kjarn Not yet, Young Kathy, but I really want to be a part of it and my weekends off until the end of the year are 29/30 October, 12/13 November, 26/27 November, 10/11 December and 24/25 December. Also, the weekends between those listed above I work 6am - 2pm and can probably do them then but I'm usually pretty stuffed after work those days. You thinking about coming up? I'll start a DATES thread on the Google Group site so you can browse 'officially' :D

Thanks for the invitation, Alan. I live about 7 hours away by road so a little too far unless I'm going to be in the area. Would love to join in if so; will keep an eye on things just in case.

Hi again, everyone :)

Some of you may have gotten the group email already but for the rest, I'm nailing in Saturday 26 November 2011 as the proposed date for our SEQ 365ers meet up.

How does that suit everyone?

I'm choosing the Saturday over the Sunday of that weekend so that, once
we all hookup, if we decide to go for a group shoot the next day we'll
be right. The alternative or backup date (if 26/11 sucks for the
majority) will be Saturday 12 November 2011.

Also, how about a meet up around 1pm (1300hrs) and under the Southern end of the Story Bridge at Captain Burke Park? Under the Story Bridge, over the Clem7? Cool, huh? :) It is also agreeably close to the Story Bridge Hotel. Just sayin'...
