The Facebook "Like button" on each day's image: Questions

December 29th, 2011
I notice that each image posted has a Facebook "Like" Button.

Does this mean that if I post an image, and someone clicks "Like" that it will post to their Facebook page for their own "Whatever"?

If so, I am not a fan of that.

If anyone, or Ross, can opine on this, I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Tag @scrivna (Ross) so he knows you have a question.

I don't know the answer but you could try it and see I suppose. I would but I've just switched off my laptop. I don't trust my phone with such experiments!

Hi, the photo will not appear on the other persons facebook page, but it may contain a link back to the 365project.org page

@Scrivna Thank you, Ross for your usual prompt response. That is great. THank you so much.

@cluvlj @Scrivna Actually I just tried it and yes your photo was posted onto my page when I 'liked' it. I have deleted it as I was only researching.

@kjarn @Scrivna Oh dear.

Ross?

well, it's not posting your photo, its giving a link to 365 project and pulling in a photo to go with the link, when i tried it it pulled in the 365 logo, this is how facebook behaves, 365 project is open to the public, anybody can see any photo (for now). Even if we removed the facebook like button from this page it would still happen (try copying the url from the address bar into a facebook status update, it will do the same thing)
