Challenge suggestion: Fractals

You can read about fractals in my post in the general discussion topic. I have added fractals to a few of my photographs, but not as many as I see everyday in everyone's contributions. Examples:

I'm with taleweaver! I'm so geeked on this subject! I had to go look up the mathematical definition and am still spinning on how cloud patterns could follow a mathematical formula. I get it, but now how do I know I've found it in nature? Thanks for the topic!
