Mystery of Stonehenge (reloaded)

January 7th, 2012
I apologize for bothering you and asking some of you to look and comment again on my picture I´ve uploaded last night and reloaded and reuploaded again this morning... "Mystery of Stonehenge".

Some of you might know that I am not "big" on editing, but if you have a minute can you please take a second look, or first, at this picture:

It was the most difficult editing I´ve ever made for a picture, but my mind was running wild with myths, legends, stories, and so on... I think I´ve accomplished finally what I wanted.

Thanks for looking and commenting.

Affly.

Is ther some thing in particular that you would like comments on?

@agima , to edit the shadows in a night scene was really challenging... would like to know if that looks kind of "real"... or that would be the right ones when there was really a moon or a planet there irradiating light.

thanks.

In my opinion: I love the smokey figure to the left and the trail of light in the middle-left. I didn't quite get that the planet is a light source, in fact the planet is the only thing that doesn't look like a 100% natural photo of a spooky phenomena. I think you did an amazing job of adding a night shadow and the shadows/light on the rocks are perfection.

I agree. The planet is the only thing that looks fake. It's too bright for the rest of the pic. I love the rest of it, though!

@tabbycat @herussell ,

thank you guys for the honest answer... I have done also a similar composition which I will upload also for the challenge... (all because I don´t have my camera... so trying to work on creativity...).

Much appreciated.
