I recently started holding photo scavenger hunts to give me something to do and to help my mom learn more about how to use her camera. It turned out to be so much fun that I started doing them with my friends too. Now it is time to share it with the 365 community!
Unlike normal scavenger hunts where you get a list of items to find from your neighbors we start out with a list of items to find to take pictures of. I also don't use a point value system for each item since the main point is to take some awesome pictures.
I have prepared a list for the very first 365 Photo Hunt Extravaganza. I'm hoping that you'll have a few hours this weekend to grab a buddy a camera and a bottle of water and go out in your part of the woods and hunt for pictures.
The fun part comes in when you share your "finds" with the other players of the game. So for this very first photo hunt tag your pictures with "photohunt-365" and make sure that the item name from the list is in the title or description.
Now.... (drum roll please) time for the list:
Airport
Room
Water
Floodlight
Spice
Horoscope
Cave
Coffee
Fruit
Chocolates

Now if you had a site to do this I may be able to get a few of these. My 365 projects are about Ozzy and self-portraits using Photo Booth. This sounds fun. I need to get out more. I have an airport right down my street. The only thing is I think it's illegal now to photograph it due to all of the terrorism shit going on. Am I wrong? I know they would stop me from photographing the subway. I've heard horror stories about it.
Oh man that really sucks about the airport. I found this really cool list of over 200 words on a website that I printed out cut up and randomly picked from to come up with this list. I didn't even think of any legalities. I guess we'll have to get really creative with an interpretation of Airport.

This is harder than it sounds especially trying to get good photos of them how do you take a creative shot of a Floodlight lol I took a load of photos but I don't think it's good enough to enter.
After completing this photo hunt it was quite difficult. I'm so sorry for making the first one this hard :( I'm going to post a photo hunt monthly and next month will be alot easier and fun. Look out for it in the coming few weeks.
