Since we're nearing the end of summer -- or whatever your seasonal change might be depending on where you live -- I thought it would be fun to post your favorite "remains of summer" photo -- or your "spring forth" photo. It can be nature, portrait, objects,
whatever represents the impending seasonal change for you. And please share a bit about your home, your season and your shot. Can't wait to see!
Here's one I took in August during our heatwave, which still seems to have no end in sight. Ugh.
At least our neighbor's tree knows Fall is around the corner.
This one was taken back in March, sping was around the corner here in Germany! I really liked this small sign of green and what it stands for: Reformation! Now we´re waiting for the fall to come...
Nearing the end of summer and there is a hint of Fall in the air here in Colorado. We still have hot days but the earth is brown and dry, some of the Aspen trees are changing in the mountains. The sky is blue like no other season in Colorado. A great time of year here.
It is spring here in Tassie, we have a few fruit trees & they are blossoming. Highlight of spring so far is that we were surprised with a lamb being born last night. We got four sheep several months ago, we lost two of them. We weren't sure if the sheep we had left were in lamb but surprise, surprise.
HARVEST AT LEONARD'S ROUND BARN
The end of harvest is nearing in my area, which means summer is over and Autumn is just around the corner. Hello to the return of the WSU and U of I students, football season and cold crisp fall evenings.
In the eastern San Diego County area, August & September are our hottest months of the summer. I wish I could say these leaves are a sign of Fall, but they're actually a result of a long, hot, dry summer. It doesn't start to feel like Fall until late October or early November.

Here we have an end of summer harvest picture, the weather is becoming cooler now. It was a lovely warm late summers evening when the photo was taken.

A sure sign that fall is here is the Packer flag proudly displayed near the front door of this home. (Wausau, WI, USA)
