February 22nd, 2013
Just a reminder that the EOTB3 Challenge is up and running. Entries accepted up until Thursday 28th. Feb.
You can see all the details here:

Look out for all those "ugly" and mundane things around you and use your creative eye to capture them in a way that makes them appealing, or even beautiful!
Just tag your pics eotb3 to enter them in the challenge.
Enjoy!

There seems to have been a little confusion regarding how to enter your photos for the challenge. Just to clarify: you don't have to post your photos anywhere other than on your own page - your entries will automatically be entered when you add the tag eotb3 in the tag box on your page.

@happysnap Hi Linda! I have a question.
When you picked the five finalists for EOTB, and posted them all together, I noticed at first only one photo went up, then you got it worked out later. Do you post all five by copying and pasting all five pics' "code" on the right hand side....the one we use to copy/paste/post a photo in those "share your pic of ___________" discussions we do on here? The code that shows the whole picture and not just a link to the photo?

I know if I copy the link at the top, in the browser window, that is the "short code" and is just the link to the photo. So I am assuming I copy and paste the "long code" over there on the bottom right of the screen by each photo (near the "SHARE" b utton) and paste them all onto a word document, then copy ALL of that and post it in the text of the EOTB4 challenge finalist post I do tomorrow.

Is this right? :)) Thanks for any help you can give me.

Hi MaryBeth
Yes, you need to copy the long "copy and paste code" situated under the share button on each person's relevant eotb4 photo entry. I didn't paste these into a word document (not sure that would work?). I typed in the person's @ address and then copied the code under it for each one. You don't see the photo when you do this, that only comes up when you post the whole post. Originally this made me a bit unsure, so I pasted the code of the first photo and then pressed the post button, thinking that if the photo came up ok I would make just a quick edit and add the rest of the winning photos. But several people had looked and commented on the fact that there was only one photo in the meantime - the 365ers are fast! It really made me unsure that I couldn't see the photos, only the code. So yes, write all you want to write, add the codes of the five photos you have selected as well as their @ address and then post the whole thing and it will turn out showing the photos related to the codes. Is that any help? Feel free to give me a shout if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help. :-)

@espyetta @happysnap)

It is my understanding that they do not need to be posted in the discussion but must be tagged EOTB4. Photos are usually selected from the tag, not everyone likes to actually post their photo. I'm only saying that since some new people may be confused and think they have to post their photo in order to be considered. Looks like there are a good number of entries! These are fun challengs

Yes, Kathy. That is right. The photo just needs to be tagged eotb4 on the individual's page.

Yes. We do not mean tools the participants think they have to post their photo anywhere but in their own project with the EIYB4 tag. :0) I was just asking Linda. As the host, how I get the finalists pics to show for the vote. Does that make sense.
