Kitchen Kraziness

June 1st, 2013
I thought I would challenge myself in June to take kitchen themed photos for the month. A good indoor project for those of us in the southern hemisphere!! Having just moved house and owning lots of kitchen paraphenelia I thought I would have a lot of fodder for photos! Would will join me? tag your photos June-kitchen.
Here's my first!

Well I'm in England and the weather is lousy despite the fact it's supposed to be warm now lol. So I shall post a few too :-)
Great idea, I love kitchens and especially kitchen gadgets :-)

Amy
The weather is just terrible in England all year around, so I'm a big fan of household shots :P

Kitchen is always a good place for a play - this is what came out of a bored wet evening for me (wet indoors as well as out by the time I finished!!)

F8 - 2 second exposure - hand held, manually triggered, flash - 200 ASA - on an old Nikon D40

I live over on the coast in hokitika so will use this idea when other things arent happening. will follow you to se how you get on
June 1st, 2013
@tinac1 Ahhh. That's where I want to move back to when I come home to NZ. Fingers crossed it is sooner rather than later!!
@plumtree500 I have wonderful fond memories of going to Hokitika with my Mum. It's such a beautiful scenic area. I'd say the prettiest area of New Zealand but then I'm from the Bay of Islands so I'm just a teeny tiny (oh dear read here totally) bit bias :) Am going to follow you both so when I get a little home sick I can check out what you are up to :)
June 1st, 2013
@k1w1 So where are you Christine?
June 1st, 2013
@tinac1 I'm originally from the Bay of Islands area (easier to say that area cause everyone knows it rather than Hukerenui) but am currently living about 45 minutes from Toronto. I've been here for 11 years and after my recent visit have decided I've been here long enough :)
June 1st, 2013
@k1w1 my brother lives in Hukerenui!!
June 1st, 2013
Wow. Small world. My brother is still there with his family. I grew up there and went to school there. Left about 13 years ago.

What a great idea! Have been wondering (worrying, panicking!!) about photo possibilities as the weather gets colder, wetter, darker so will see how I go with this.
