Thought I'd enter the most popular pic I have on here to the National Geographic travel competition. Join me or please vote by hitting the like button.
@jodeewatts Stunning pic Jodee - good luck with it.
(out of interest - your watermark on the pic - is that a deliberate play on words? - I saw a similar switch of words on someones work on Deviant art used to make a political point)
@styru - no not at all. I learnt something worth learning I think. I've never written copywrite before ...lol. Lucky for me it does actually have a meaning, laughing at myself on that one! :)
Good Luck! I suggested this competition to other 365ers but I'm not sure if they entered... I wonder why residents of New Jersey aren't allowed to partake.
It costs $15 to enter this contest the laws of New Jersey (and, indeed, Vermont) do not allow the running of skill contests that requires an entry fee.
@3rdxoff The finer point of National Geographics rules are a common talking point on other forums you see. Indeed it has only been recently that they have dropped the clause giving them the right to do whatever they like with all the entries - without payment, or even acknowledgement of the photographer.
That same 'rights grab' clause still exists on many other photography competition terms - and is one to watch for!!

To quote Wiki:
Copywrite: the act of writing copy (text) for the purpose of advertising or marketing a product, business, person, opinion or idea.
as opposed to:
Copyright: a legal concept, enacted by most governments, giving the creator of an original work exclusive rights to it.
I know similar has been used to make a political point by others - thought that might be your intent?
