Thank you so much guys for voting for my photo in the last ETSOOI challenge! I feel honored to have been in the running with all the fantastic photos for that session.
ETSOOI is an acronym that was started by MaryBeth @espyetta that means edit the sh#t/stuffing/shenanigans out of it. For anyone obsessed with PS, this is the challenge for you :)
This time the theme will be DOORS. Doors have a lot of symbolism behind them, as they can denote hope, an opportunity, or a choice ahead, representing the passage between one state to another. They can also just be really beautiful!
You can see (majorly PS dependent) photos of mine as an example here: example 1 example 2
The challenge starts today (July 28th) and run until next Sunday night, (August 4th). The finalists will be announced on Monday. You are free to enter as many shots as you’d like, the only rule being that your shot must have been taken and posted within this time frame. The winner will receive the honor of hosting the next ETSOOI challenge.
Please tag your entries ETSOOI-15 and please feel free to post your shots onto this thread as inspiration to others.
Hope ya’ll enjoy this one!
I can’t wait to see what you’ll come up with.

Helen, love love both your examples. Your work is exceptional. Doors is a great choice for ETSOOI theme. I'll keep an eye out for cool looking doors to photograph.
@lenimiss my picture, yes, taken at the National Gas Turbine Establishment (NGTE Pyestock) in the UK - a massive research facility that was used to test jet engines (it did all the tests for Concorde, etc)
Derelict for about 20 years now (and currently being demolished) that pic was taken a few years ago.
The scale of the place beggars belief - there are test machines there taller than a six story building.
You can see more pics from the place (worth a look) in my set here...
@lenimiss thank you Helen!! :) I've just been so busy lately! but I'm excited to see all entries and I will try to make part of it! Nice choice of theme btw!
@lenimiss Helen, too many challenges and a small brain to work with. :-) And with the rainy weather and two kids to tag along I couldn't go on my adventure of finding doors. I know there will be so many if only I travel a bit. I'm on it now. Will post today or tomorrow.
Just for something a little different - I'll leave this set here!!

I went back recently (indeed used a shot for my 365 project) and demolition is well under way - those doors are no more...
