Thanks to @northy for organizing the last mundane challenge, and thank you to all who voted for my toilet paper design, I truly appreciate your votes and support.
I had some ideas in mind for the next challenge then realised they already had been used but just now the postman knocked on the door and with a bunch of envelopes in my hand thought why not? So be creative with ENVELOPES this week :-)
The mundane theme was started by Aaron @grizzlyghost, for those of us who may have lost inspiration. He suggested we take an ordinary, boring object and start shooting it. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday object. The only rule: there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star!
The challenge officially starts today Friday September 20th and runs through to the end of Friday September 27th... on Saturday I will pick finalists for voting...
Feel free to post your entries onto this thread as well, as inspiration for others!
The following is a list of objects used so far for the challenge: toothbrush, screwdriver, veggie peeler, bar of soap, scissors, electrical plug, paperclip, jar, language, cardboard, toothpick, hex key, hair comb, screw, button, key, coin, ballpoint pen, shoe, glass, plastic bag, thread, books, lightbulb and toilet paper.
Rachel, I got bored with mundane challenges(have been doing them for a while). I thought i'll take a break so I didn't participate last time around. But your choice of the mundane object is tempting me again. I'm already getting some ideas. Will see if my mojo lasts to make this challenge.
P.S. i think there should be books between thread and lightbulb in the list of previous objects.
I only select a few challenges here and there as time is sadly limited, when an idea strikes I will participate otherwise let them go. I will check re. books and add it to the list. Looking fwd to your entry if you decide to participate :-). Have a great day
Exactly. For those who don't have ace account, time as well as spots in the week are also limited. That's why for a change I left mundane challenges for the weekly theme last week. You have a good policy to pick themes. I should do the same.
