Many thanks to @northy for organizing the last mundane challenge involving the tin can. A huge thanks to all who voted to get my tin can photo "the last drop" to the number one spot! I am thrilled to be hosting the 31st mundane challenge.
So without further ado, this is what it is all about:
I have selected egg(s) as the subject. I hope it will give you lots of scope. Inside, outside, one on its own, a whole batch, sunny side up, sunny side down etc - any way you like them! Let your creativeness and your imaginations run wild!
The mundane theme was started by Aaron @grizzlyghost, for those of us who may have lost inspiration. He suggested we take an ordinary, boring object and start shooting it. Turn the ordinary into the extraordinary!
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday subject. The only rule: there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star!
The challenge officially starts now, Sunday 24th November and runs through to the end of Sunday 1st December (GMT). I will announce the finalists on Tuesday 3rd December for voting. The winner will be announced on Thursday 5th December.
Please tag your entries: mundane-egg
you can check out the entries here: http://365project.org/tags/mundane-egg
Feel free to post your entries onto this thread as well, as inspiration for others! I have posted one from earlier on in my project, to start the egg theme off.
The following is a list of objects used so far for the challenge:
toothbrush, screwdriver, veggie peeler, bar of soap, scissors, electrical plug, paperclip, jar, language, cardboard, toothpick, hex key, hair comb, screw, button, key, coin, ballpoint pen, shoe, glass, plastic bag, thread, books, lightbulb, toilet paper, envelopes, door handle, teabag, broom, tin can and egg(s)
I am looking forward to seeing all your wonderful egg images! Enjoy.
@beluga Ah, thanks Beluga, but I know you can do some pretty interesting things with eggs too! Perhaps a Portuguese egg will find its way into the challenge?
I suspect I'll be doing one again for this challenge :)
and had help getting to this:
