I'm posting my December theme a little late, but I just decided this
morning that I am going to do this. Feel free to join in for the month,
a week, or a day if you feel so inclined. I do better on my project
when I have a monthly theme, and it took me awhile to come up for one
for December. I didn't really want to do a Christmas theme per se. So
I decided on a color theme. Blue is my favorite color, and works well
with the whole "winter" thing that we're coming into (and there's that
conveniently named Christmas song too), so I am going to make December
my "Blue Christmas" month this year. The connecting thread in the shots
will be that the predominant color is blue--blue decor, blue sky, blue
snow shadows, blue Christmas decorations, blue whatever. I'm hoping
this will give me an opportunity to try a number of different things,
and give me a pretty blue-toned calendar when I'm done.
So if you'd like to join in, feel free! Tag will be bluechristmas.
Side note: I'll be doing this project simultaneously with another theme,
involving my daughter's Princess toys...kind of reminiscent of/inspired by
"Dino-vember" if you've seen that...I have some holes to fill in from my
"summer sabbatical" and am OCD enough that I don't want any holes in my
calendar at the end of my year (which is also the end of THE year). So
check that out too, if children's toys in amusing situations are
entertaining to you. Details to come after I come up with a pithy name for it. ;)
