Thank you to everyone who participated in the Abstract Mailbox challenge and to those who voted for my image. Also thanks to @adayinmallacoota for hosting the last challenge. This is not only my first time hosting a challenge but also my first time starting a discussion so please bear with me if I mess up. I already tried posting this once and somehow failed.
Lisa @nanalisarocks won the Mundane Mailbox Challenge and has chosen the subject for the next challenge to be PILL.
The rules for the Abstract Challenge are as follows:
1. IMAGES MAY NOT BE DOUBLE TAGGED. (Your mundane image must differ from your abstract image.) Here is a definition of abstract: http://www.photokonnexion.com/?page_id=2406
2.The challenge will run concurrent to the Mundane challenge
The starting date is Saturday Feb. 8th and runs through to the end of Sunday Feb 16th (EST)
The finalists will be announced on Monday Feb 17th(EST) for voting. The winner will be announced on Thursday Feb 20th (EST) 2014.
Please tag your entries abstract-pill.
Your entry must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.
Feel free to post your entries onto this thread as well, as inspiration for others!

@flutterby22. Kristina can you clarify one statement in the rules. I am not clear on what you mean by 'Your mundane image must differ from your abstract image.' The almost sounds like two difference images?
@stuck8 As I understand it, there are 2 mundane challenges that run concurrently. They have the same theme (in this case "pill") but one is abstract. Since the concept of abstract is somewhat subjective, to some people some photos may qualify for both challenges. You are welcome to enter both but one photo cannot qualify for both challenges. The host of the regular mundane challenge is the one who chooses the subject.
