Photoshop CC and Windows 3200x1800 Displays

May 18th, 2014
Does anyone know if Photoshop CC has corrected reported UI problems of super HD displays (3200x1800) on Windows? The Dell XPS 15 series in particular. I still see many net references to problems but can't see any resolution, other than up (down?) the resolution which destroys the whole point. Anyone got good news or other scoop? I plan to upgrade if this has been fixed.

I believe the latest release is 14.2.1, confirmed in the comments by Adobe employees not to support HiDPI scaling yet (search for HiDPI):

I'd keep an eye on the blog for future release announcements -- this is a large enough feature that it's extremely likely to be listed in the release notes for a future version.

@abirkill Thanks, correct. Just left a big bitch at Adobe, and suggested to Dell that they pressure Adobe too. Not that the last is liable to get anything done, but It's delaying at least my purchase and that of a friend of mine at camera club.

@frankhymus I'm sure you've already seen this, but just in case, the latest Photoshop CC release (called '2014') has added experimental support for UI scaling:
