A huge thank you to all who voted for Ice Row in the last challenge mundane Ice, presented by Malie@maishanny , an awesome, effective challenge that really engaged me.
I thought really hard about this,,,
Bubbles are very challenging to get right. To maybe capture that rainbow of colour in a single subject, to compose a shot that 'feels right' from a multitude of bubbles or even just to get the exposure right, without blowing out the highlights. Ill be looking for terrific examples when judging who to place in the final!!
The only rule says "There can be no question that the item in the challenge is the star"
You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object, and then edit it appropriately.
Please tag your entries mundane-bubbles
The starting date is today, Friday Jan 9th, 2014 and will run through to the end of Saturday January 17th , 2015 PST.

@amyleewinfield It is really a cool thing to see. Will work best if the temps are at least down in the 20s a bit. The bubble solution I use is 6 parts water, 2 parts dishsoap, and 1 part light corn syrup. I use 1.5cup water, .5 cup dishsoap, and .25 cup of corn syrup (fits nice in a pint size mason jar). And it is great to have a helper to hold the bubble wand while you take the pics. :)
@beachdog I think (I am new here too), that you only need to tag your bubble photo with mundane-bubbles for it to be in the challenge. And if you want your pic to show in this thread, when you upload it to your project, it will have three dots at the lower right under the pic (...), when you click on those dots it will open a small box with the link for your photo. You can highlight and copy it, come back here and past that link in the comment box.
@mehrwein It's just a close up of a glass globe we have in our garden window. All I did was darken it a little more so that the bubbles stood out more.
@mehrwein If you go to the page you loaded the image on just below the image there are 4 symbols, ones edit looks like a little cog, ones comments looks like a speach bubble, the others favs so its the star,, then theres a line of dots ... click that and itll give you a link to copy and paste here x
