I took a break from 365 last year for a few months, and can't remember if I have hosted a competitions before, so if I am doing anything wrong, please let me know!
I have gone through the list of previous topics and the only thing I could think of that hasn't already been done, come to me as I was making a sandwich for my lunch ~ Bread.
Any form of bread/ roll in its dough form, baked as a sandwich ~ there are endless opportunitues to interpret the theme :-) The only rule says "There can be no question that the item in the challenge is the star"
You are free to use any photographic technique you would like to use to capture this mundane object, and then edit it appropriately.

The starting date is today, Tuesday February 3rd, 2015 and will run through to the end of Tuesday February 10th, 2015.
Voting will start shortly after the finalists are selected and will last for a couple of days, and the winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
Your entry must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.
Feel free to post your entries on this thread as well to inspire others.

We don't eat bread, so I had to go to the local bakery to get this shot. We've been a bit stir crazy with all the snow we've gotten, so this was the perfect excuse to take a walk - and my daughter was happy for the rare treat of a sandwich while we were there :)
First time I've entered this competition.. It was interesting to say the least, I got a few questions from my flat mates asking why on earth I was taking photos of frozen bread...
