Many thanks to MoyaC (@moya) for hosting the mundane challenge paintbrush/es. This was a very interesting mundane subject choice, with a lot of wonderful submissions. jdM (@joemuli) was the well-deserved winner of this challenge, followed closely by Persnickety Doctor @persnickety_doctor. Congratulations jdM @joemuli, this was fabulous! Very creative and well done. And Persnickety Doctor @persnickety_doctor you were in second place just one vote behind the winner! Congrats again to you both from my side.
Unfortunately jdM, is out of town and can’t host the next mundane challenge, and Persnickety Doctor does not seem to be attainable. For this reason, MoyaC asked me to step in, and hosting the next challenge, although my picture is a distant third. I hope I do not disappoint you.
So, the next some”thing” for the mundane challenge is going to be... a corkscrew.
You are free to use any photographic technique you like to capture this everyday object. The main rule; there can be no question the object of the challenge is the star! You may enter as many times as you like, but your entry must be taken within the challenge time frame to be considered as a finalist.

The starting date will be Immediately: Friday, 12/06/15 and will run until Sunday, 21/06/15.
Voting will take place from Monday 22/06/15 until Thursday 25/06/15.
