I have to apologize that in my exhausted, mommy state, I didn't realize that I had and probably should not have included the most recent host of Technique40 on the short list. Therefore, I'd like to suggest that our runner up, Spanner, @spanner, host the next Technique challenge, for her amazing "Ms. Pacman." Both photos were fantastic!! @epcello thank you very much for your kind words. However I do not think there is a rule to say that the previous winner cannot win again. @pistache deserves the win. It is a great shot and the people have spoken. On another note I am not around much at present so will struggle to run a competition .
Crikey I'm really flattered and thrilled to have won this challenge. Especially up against such stiff competition, including from @spanner, whose work I admire immensely. Thank you so much to all who voted for my picture of my father. He will be delighted too! I was viewing the comments from Erika @epcello as a win-win situation for me - the pleasure of winning and yet not running the next comp! - but am okay to do it @spanner, if you would really rather not ... Oh, and I loved your shot, as I do most of your work ;)
